Play Tabula Rasa for free...until it dies
Tabula Rasa is a very flawed MMO. But I still enjoyed many aspects of the game: the story, the world, the class/skill system, the control points, the clone system, the party portals, etc.

Due to some poor reviews and lack of subscribers--mostly because of the lack of any end-game content--Tabula Rasa will be no more after February 28, 2009.

But until then, you can play it for free:
If you're a new player who has never tried Tabula Rasa, you can get a Tabula Rasa Serial Code by visiting this link to create a new game account!

Once your account is activated (or re-activated!), visit ftp://ftp.playtr.com/setup_data_files/install_tabula_rasa_1.11.6.0.exe to download the game client. Install and you're ready to go.

1. I played this game in beta.
It wasn't awful, but it was close.

2. Me: "This tastes horrible. Try some!"
Okay, guilty as charged. :) But I really do think they did a few things well, and it's worth checking out the game.

3. As I recall, they had a cloning system that let players follow different class paths.
That's a decent idea.

I preferred the Matrix Online way of handling that problem, though - you buy whatever skills you want, then pay to level them up, limited to whatever your current level happens to be. Too bad the rest of that game stunk, too...
