Games for Windows sucks!
I bought BioShock2 and the game works fine except you can't save anything without a profile. So after I go through all of their bullshit for creating an account and once I log in it won't accept the game key! I had 2 people verify the correct key and it just won't accept it.

I'll take the goddamn thing back and NEVER buy anything that says Games for Windows again!

Who the hell is Games for Windows anyway?

1. This happened with the first Bioshock as well
Jesus, I thought they would have their act together this time around. Taking it back will do you no good, as you'll only get another copy. Most places won't even give a store credit.

Give it time. They fixed the issues with the first game; I expect they'll fix these issues as well.

(In case you're not aware, with the first Bioshock, the install limit was three times- EVER. You could only ever install the game up to three times over the lifetime of your ownership. This was quickly expanded to five, and later, the limit was revoked entirely. Additionally, the installer had to "phone home" and many, many people- including myself- had difficulty with getting the required "final file" from the servers.)

2. I got my money back and took a chance on the original Bioshock...
That one installed without any interference from Microsoft games. It did its own update and runs fine. That was my 2nd bad experience with Games for Windows.
Thanks for the reply.

3. ever try to get Quake to work.. or Star Ship Troopers.. they never worked for anyone, ever. bad game
they sold them, never fixed them. i did get quake to work.. i did play it. but when you got killed, it took about 30 to 60 minutes to get back to the game.. i never got anywhere in level one.. how about Resurrection of evil.. no mouse control on an FPS.. i have a big box of crappy games..

i'm playing Bad Company2 great multi-player, COD4...very god.. Front Lines Fuel of war was good too.

i have Bioshock... i just didn't find it entertaining wandering around, i never really figured it out i guess. i got to a point i discovered i should have done something about an hour before. it was restart the level or give up.. i just prefer FPS games.. i like playing on teams.

i built this to game with..

ANTEC 900 Case.
ASUS Rampage Formula X48.
Intel e8500 .
Windows 7 Pro 64bit,
Silent Knight2 CPU cooler.
8 GB OCZ Reaper HPC DDR2 1066.
1TB WD Caviar Black,
Logitech G500 Mouse/IceMat Pad
VisionTec Radeon HD 3870 X2 1Gb.
Creative Soundblaster Champion Titanium
Samsung 22" Wide Screen.
Cosair 750 watt PSU.
OPTI UPS Battery Back Up.
