I finished Fallout 3! I have my life back!
minor spoilers

After having spent WAY too much time (200+ hours) on Fallout 3 after having gone all over the wasteland, I FINALLY dedicated myself to the main quest and boy, those talking about how fast the main game ends are NOT joking.

This is truly a great game. It was my very first RPG (although as much as an FPS). Unlike most video game adaptations, I could really see this one being a movie or even a TV series. (that would be something - a two season series, first as good karma, the other as bad).

I'll be catching up with other things (like my LIFE) my next thing will be OBLIVION...

1. Fallout 3 is the best RPG I am aware of on the PS3.
The new Fallout is scheduled to come out this year.

4. And although Fallout 3 was no slackage...Fallout New Vegas will be the real deal.
So many of the orignal folks working on it that it nearly cannot fail (but I'm not 100% on anything these days.)

2. Awesome game.....
I agree the story does fly by rather quickly, that's why I have all the expansions for it, it gives me more to do before and after completing the main story.

3. Not for long. Fallout: New Vegas is on the way.
It's on the cover of all the big gaming mags this month. Looks awesome.

I've been dinking my way through Fallout 3 at a very leisurely pace myself. Still a ways to go. I enjoy it a lot more in nice small chunks.

I may hit it a little harder with the new one coming though.

5. YES! Got my issue of Xbox mag today! And I'm back to playing Fallout..
Oblivion. What's with this magic spell crap? Gave up on that crap.

I've since nuked Megaton, killed the ghouls trying to get into Tenpenny, swept out Paradise falls after getting a slave and now I have neutral Karma.

Fighting with a slave makes it a completely different game.
