2. I installed Civ IV again yesterday
and, apropos of nothing at all that was going on at the time, the possibility of a Civ 5 crossed my mind at work today.

I'm glad to see it wasn't just idle speculation.

The Civ games are just fantastic. Anyone who says they hate video games has never played Civ. Usually, I go for the tech victory, though. I think I'm actually incapable of managing a huge armada of military units. I've tried, and I just can't ever seem to stop getting better and better units that I want to field.

Oh, and fuck the barbarians. Fuck them right in the ear.

3. Lol the barbarians are a pain in the ass.......
especially early on, they always come out of the dark undiscovered territory to kill one of my settlers when I'm trying to expand. Or they destroy my newly settled city that I haven't managed to get an archer or warrior to defend yet. They also prove useful sometimes though, their cities defenses are usually weak so I can take their city with very little effort.

4. I'm still playing Civ 2
I just play the One City Challenge, so I haven't seen the need to upgrade. I'll admit the new graphics look neat on these games.
