Playstation Store back up

No link but I'm in there right now. It's running wicked slow, I assume thats because there are a million people waking up and going in, heh.

There does not seem to be any mention of the free game giveaway and when I look at the games announced as part of the package, they still list as costing the regular price. I also see nothing about Playstation Plus being free as they said it would be. So, no idea how this stuff will be working. I'll update if I can find anything.

Edit - ahhh, found it. It seems the give away part of their service is not yet ready but they will let us know when it is...

That'd be like the stores on Black Friday opening at 3am, but once everyone rushes in to get the huge deals, they're told the actual deals aren't available till sometime later that morning. :banghead:


Oh well, at least I'm at work still, so hopefully it's all worked out later this afternoon.

I decided to go with Dead Nation and the Wipeout HD bundle. I selected both and Wipeout downloaded fine but Dead Nation did not download at all, did not even try to download it. I went to account management/transaction management/download list (this is where you can re-download anything you have bought) and dead nation was not listed. I went back into the store but it did not let me take another try at downloading it. Finally, I looked in account management/transaction management/services lit... I'm not sure what this is but it had several services, one of which was SCEA Promotion and inside of that it let me download Dead Nation. So if anyone has problems like mine, look there.

I also noticed another service from Konami that says "Castlevania: Lord of Shadows Promo T-Shirt" but there are no instructions on how to get the shirt. I expect I got this when I did the demo, if I figure out how to get the shirt, I'll update so everyone can get one :D
