Poll question: I'm thinking of trying something new
I've figured out how to work my little camera/video recorder to take videos. I'm thinking of doing some of me playing while giving commentary for reviews, how to do things or just to show something. The video would not be great until I can figure out a way to patch directly into the video to record but... Then I'll have do do some sort of voice over later... or something, I'm not sure yet, still working on how to do that.

Anyway, I would then post it to youtube and put the link here. I'm still figuring out youtube as well, but perhaps create a channel and anyone else could put videos up as well.

Would people be interested in watching this?

1. Watch any of the hundreds of good "Let's Play" videos on YouTube to give you ideas on how to do it.
RPGLoony and Kelranox are two people with excellent current channels, and RPGenie was another great one who's no longer active.

2. Something I hate about some game videos is when the video begins before the game is loaded up.
I don't want to watch someone load up the game, and then load up their save. That is the least interesting part of a game. Fortunately, most game videos don't do this.

4. A few games are now covering up their initial loading screens with FMVs
Civ V does this, for example.

I approve of this, as long as I can escape out once the game is loaded.
