Bush's Smokescreen

In 1999, Bush the Governor, signed a law that "allows hospitals to discontinue life-sustaining care, even if patient family members disagree." Recently, the law permitted Texas Children's Hospital to remove the breathing tube from a 6-month-old boy named Sun Hudson.

Bush has no qualms about executing "mentally ill" persons on death row or anyone else. Under Bush's governorship Texas executed - killed -- more than 150 prisoners. Nevermind their guilt or innocence, where is the culture of life in that?

FYI: Marta Russell is a disability rights activist who believes Terri should live and takes a lot of flak from other leftists at the moment for saying so. She also doesn't believe for a minute that Bush really cares.

people. And I'm not even counting the countless references to her as a "meat
puppet" and refusal to use the pronoun "her":

3. DU is ALWAYS being read by people and other groups...

I wonder if Ms Russel was in DU or someplace else?? The statements you added in your post are so vulgar, they are beyond my comprehension. They are despicable...

Frankly, if they are from here, it's a wonder the mods haven't locked threads with this crap in them.

I'd sure like to know if those are from DU. Can I find out through a link?

An ugly, political game--though it's not a game for the Schindler family. I might have thought that Democrats would see through this obvious ploy to divide us.

It's mindnumbing to know that "Liberals" are running in the opposite direction. :crazy:

Maybe, just maybe s.o.m.e of the ugly language seen in DU is coming from right wing usurpers...I don't know
