I owe you guys a big apology...

Sorry I haven't been around as much and haven't been adding stuff to the Progressive Pages like a madwoman lately.

I was having a bit of a hard time after the elections, and then my aunt died in early December. She and I were VERY close-- closer even than my mom and I. And she was one of my last ties to my dad, who died when I was 13. It's been a rough few months. I had to take a bit of a break from all this.

I apologize for not helping Sapphocrat as much the last 2 1/2 months or so. But I've bounced back a bit, and I hope you'll continue to provide feedback on local businesses to us on PP.

Now that Air America is growing to smaller and even redder markets, I think PP would be a wonderful way to contribute sales to local advertisers that may be ballsy enough to advertise on AA. So keep that in mind as well when trying to think of good local businesses.

And congratulations, Jane at dogstuff! If anyone hasn't noticed, she has 12 WONDERFULLY POSITIVE comments for her bidness! That oughta bring in some new sales!

There is "a time to mourn" (eccl 4:4) - it's a part of life. May you find comfort in this time.

And I am SURELY in good company when I say, sincerely, no apology owed! You are one of the most useful, practical, getting-things-done DUers out there. You'll get back to full speed whenever you're good and ready. Take your time. It's an important time.

I began concentrating on my genealogy for awhile, I think as a way to stay close to my aunt. And it's almost easier to live in another age right now.

But another part of me knows that there is still work to be done. And this is the easiest way for me to do it.
