First, the thank you. Thank you for making the thread I started, "THE TIME HAS COME TO ADMIT WE ARE IN DEEP TROUBLE", one of the most read posts in DU.

It was an opportunity to say the things that had to be said about the evils that confront this society. It was an opportunity to put JOHN EDWARDS front and center before those who would rather forget.

Someone or some group forced John Edwards out of this campaign, leaving us with an empty suit and a Corporate shill, who will continue the corporate acts of George Bush. I won't rest until I find the answer to who and why?

Watching the debate tonight is absolutely a pathetic experience. Having to watch Obama nand Hillary is like watching paint dry. Nice having two party hacks, feigning change isn't it?

Never has a thread elicited so many insightful comments, or contributed as much to the dialog we need to be having. At least in my estimation. I don't mean to hold myself out as some know-it-all thread expert. But, really. Great work.

As far as the debate tonight - it couldn't hold my interest. I've never not watched a Dem debate (at least since my teen years), but I swear I just couldn't pay attention.

These debates were horrendous without John's participation. Then again, they mentioned his name at every oportunity, pandering for his voting bloc.

I'm just watching to see who they are targeting, Hillary or Obama, for their next take down.
