This is what bothers me about Obama
They tout his entire career in public service.
That, however, is not exactly true.
He started running for president before he gave that speech at the convention.
Every single thing he has done in his career has been to "protect" his record when he finally ran.
He voted "present" and IDGAF what the obamites say, that was giving HIM political cover, not anyone else.
The votes he has missed, voting AFTER his vote didn't count...etc...all those things.
The only person he has ever been in business to protect is himself.
His public service has been nothing short of padding a protected resume and the PUBLIC never had anything to do with it.
Michelle's nasty comment about NOT being proud of this country...well, to start with, there has been a lot to NOT be proud of.
But why would you ever say that unless it was deliberately dig at the Presidency of Bill Clinton?
They are nasty, petty, vile people who are ONLY in this for THEMSELVES and what will benefit them.
I cannot stand them.

2. Please don't. THis is not another fucking GOBAMA forum for you all to piss in
this belongs to US...John Edwards supporters who need a place to state our opinions without cling-ons jumping to defend.
However, please keep this in mind.
I do NOT give permission for my post to be reposted in ANY forum across the internet other than this one.
Does that make it legal enough for you?

3. Dude, chill. Like I said I'm not engaging in Obama talk in the Edwards forum
And that means I'm not likely to post it elsewhere either. Take a break, have a beer, re-engage in real life for awhile.

6. I'm sorry to say I must agree.
And consider all that with the powers he'll have if he is elected POTUS.

8. There isn't much doubt in my mind.
I must say, it is a masterful plan. They have pulled this off brilliantly.

9. Yes, and it's very disturbing
When he made the key note address at the Democratic Convention in 2004, he was just a state legislator. In three years time he is running for the presidency of the United States??? What the hell? Without serving a full term in the US Senate, he is presenting himself for the highest office in the land - no, the highest office in the WORLD? And just three years ago he was a state representative??? This thing smells to high heaven!

He was plucked from obscurity, groomed for the presidency, and trotted out onto the world stage. Who is behind this meteoric rise? And what is in it for them?

11. this was posted in another forum. good article
http://www.newstatesman.com/200802210027

some are calling it a hit piece on obama, but i call it information on a candidate. i think the article is pretty fair and balanced (really), but you judge for yourself. it might give you some insight as to WHY you don't feel you can trust this guy.

13. Thanks for the link
Those earning less than $50,000 a year are consistently voting for Clinton, while Obama is scoring resoundingly with the so-called "millennium generation" earning over $150,000; the journalists who have been so starry-eyed about Obama fit neatly into the latter demographic bracket themselves, and seem to have avoided scrutinising Obama's record lest they be accused of racism. Michelle Obama, too, is still being afforded constant favourable exposure. In contrast, it is open season on both Clintons, the most scrutinised couple in history; for Hillary's candidature, Bill and the prospect of his being back in the White House have become her biggest liabilities.

Some us just can't afford to feel good about our candidate's complexion.

12. And his supporters complain that Hillary Clinton
has a sense of entitlement. I swear, what with the projection and blind allegiance, I have a difficult time distinguishing between an Obamabot and a Bushbot.
