McDonnell declares Confederate History Month in VA.
Under the guise of "tourism," McDonnell resurrects the celebration of a dark age in American history. How does any AA "celebrate?" Shackles anybody??

ADDED the recognition of slavery.

4. Ok and nothing has changed. The whole concept is fucked up.
Do we see Germans celebrating the holocaust? They have the decency to be ashamed. This country is so full of it.

Of course, they don't want to mention slavery, the main reason they seceeded from the union in the first place. Too much of US history has been sanitized and forgotten.
