1. Just add him to the long list of folks who swear up in down that MLK was their "champion"
Somehow, a black, southern, Christian preacher who championed justice and human rights -- specifically the justice and rights of the Negro in America -- has been co-opted by every dang cause under the sun.

I wouldn't be surprised if you spoke to a few folks and they'd be surprised that King had anything at all to do with the Civil Rights Movement he's been so co-opted. And now this idiot saying that King would "love" a war -- any war. It just makes me terribly sad.

Go to most any MLK-themed post, and now he's "gone beyond race, it's about class and economics". :eyes:
