We all know that. This is not late breaking news, but I've never seen actually empirically studied and quantified, not just anecdotal evidence.

1. What an interesting article.
I thought the bit about partisan mindset and the rejection of any negative info about "our side" was interesting, too.

My anecdotal evidence is nearly 100% bias on the part of registered repubs.

2. Thanks for posting
I'm sending this one out far and wide.

Notice that the Republican asked to comment tried to deflect attention:

Brian Jones, a spokesman for the Republican National Committee, said he disagreed with the study's conclusions but that it was difficult to offer a detailed critique, as the research had not yet been published and he could not review the methodology. He also questioned whether the researchers themselves had implicit biases -- against Republicans -- noting that Nosek and Harvard psychologist Mahzarin Banaji had given campaign contributions to Democrats.

Standard operating procedure.

3. I always thought this was the case with conservatives,
especially the fire and brimstone, vengeful moralists, not just republicans, so this was surprising.

The negative reaction of all test-takers to black images is troubling...
