Check it out - That's What I'm Talking About on tvland
I can barely believe what I'm seeing, Wayne Brady serious. I'm watching Diahann Carroll, Harry Belafante, crazy Paul Mooney and Toure talking about Blacks on tv and in film. Next week Sharpton is going to be on with Spike Lee and Wanda Sykes and I don't care who else 'cause I'm watchin' it!

1. It was excellent television.
I started watching a bit into the show, so I was wondering who the young brother was. Thanks. It reminded of the programming BET used to do sometimes when Bev Smith or Ed Gordon would have really good panels.

3. I hope you caught it last night/this morning
It re-ran at 1 AM so I was able to watch the PBS special in full.

Here was a group of people I'd have at Thanksgiving dinner - wow! I have to give it up to Wayne Brady for hanging in among such STRONG opinions and for Al Sharpton for having the best answer to the Cosby question. He said Cosby has earned the right to say what he does because he participated in the cause of civil rights. I hadn't thought of it that way, really. I was more into the 'how can he talk when his kids have had all the advantages...' misconception. And, Ridley Scott - did he refer to 'the liberal media'? I believe he did, which was a disappointment considering how greatly I admire him. And, Rev. Al...when Wanda Sykes said she worries, "oh Lord, Rev. Al, please don't say somethin' crazy' when she seems him at a mike...

I hope they re-run the whole series and, in fact, I hope they sell the videos of it.
