1. Yeah!!!!
Saw the movie, bought the CD.....

Jamie Fox is truly multi-talented. When I saw him perform on the piano and sing at the Grammys (I think that's what it was a couple of months back) I said....WOW!

2. The movie was just great! To watch Jamie receive that award and his
acceptance speech was truly moving.

As Prince said last night, Jamie became Ray Charles in RAY. It was an awesome performance and he deserved the gold!

WOW!

4. Saw the speech later after I had posted here.....
cause I'm on the West Coast.

That was a great acceptance speech. Really, really was "real"!

5. True dat,
mo posturing whatsoever on Jamie's part. And, that's what had me tearing up even before he did, He was so...so damned happy and grateful. Considering where he started (I still crack up thinkin' about the Ugly Girl on In Living Color) it meant WAY more to me than that sort of thing normally does. I HATE awards shows but last night I have no regrets about catching that one.

:hi:

7. If one just went by what MSN had on their splash page
after the Golden Globes, one would have thought Leo DiCaprio won the only actor statue that night.

Especially after the heartfelt acceptance speech he gave, they put Terri Hatcher and Leo DiCaprio's picture up---none of Jamie Foxx. Figures.
