Bomb kills soldier, Iraqi interpreter

BAGHDAD — An American soldier and an Iraqi interpreter have been killed by a roadside bomb in Baghdad, the U.S. military said.

A statement said the blast struck their vehicle just after 10 a.m. Wednesday in a northwestern section of the Iraqi capital.

The soldier was not identified.
