PA director suspends daily mission reports

The Air Force on Tuesday temporarily stopped issuing the daily summary of combat and mobility missions supporting operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Col. Gus Schalkham, the newly arrived director of public affairs for Air Forces Central’s Combined Air Operations Center, said the halt is intended to give him time to review how the summary is produced. He did know exactly when the summaries would resume.
