U.S.: No. 2 leader of al-Qaida in Iraq killed

BAGHDAD — The U.S. military says the No. 2 leader of al-Qaida in Iraq has been killed during an operation in the northern city of Mosul.

The military has identified the insurgent leader as a Moroccan known as Abu Qaswarah or Abu Sara.

Wednesday’s statement says he became the senior al-Qaida in Iraq emir of northern Iraq in June 2007 and had ties to senior al-Qaida leaders in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

It also says “he was al-Qaida in Iraq’s second-in-command” behind Abu Ayyub al-Masri, also known as Abu Hamza al-Muhajir.

Well guess the war is over and we can come home.
Little does it matter that al Qaeda was not a factor in Iraq before
bush started this unneeded war and that "these al Qaeda" had
nothing to do w/ 9/11 still the propaganda continues and people
keep dying for no real reason.

:D :D They kill me :D Soooo many no 2 guys,it makes me Dizzy.

Looks like there is a endless supply of number 2 guys to me and very few no 3, 4, 5 or 6 Guys etc. :D :D
We have turned the corner so many times,we just keep going in circles.ha,ha,
Victory is assured,we are winning,we got em on the run,only a few dead enders No# 2 guys left.
After this Victory with honour,it is time to ramp up another Surge in Afghanistan,for some more" Freedom spreading"
