Jim Webb is a veteran. He is a decorated veteran of the Vietnam war who climbed up the ladder to become SecNav at one point. As SecNav he stood up for vet issues, for veterans. He has been tested; he knows what the vet life is all about and how tough things can be. Mr. Webb's opposition candidate however, Allen, does not have any military service background. As an R he has voted against necessary funding for adequate head trauma services, PTSD counseling and treatment, voted to cut continued medical care for sick Gulf War vets.
