A new civilian company has assumed command for overseeing military housing at Patrick Air Force Base, Fla.
Hunt Pinnacle Communities LLC, will manage and maintain all 991 military homes at Patrick, as well as at three other bases. Problems, including local subcontractors not getting paid on time, plagued the previous company, American Eagle.
The firm is also taking on housing operations at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia, Hanscom Air Force Base in Massachusetts and Little Rock Air Force Base in Arkansas.
“Hunt Pinnacle is the best deal for our airmen,” said Col. Charles Beck, commander of Patrick’s 45th Mission Support Group. “Our airmen are a priority. Their housing is our priority.”
The contract took effect Nov. 4.
