visiting parents, (medical visit) and fireworks just went off. I want to duck...

Duck and cover... take cover, hit the deck... get really tense.

I KNOW they are fireworks, not that this knowledge works...

3. Yep, I have that too.

And not just from being shot at, it goes with the job of aviation MX as well. Sudden loud noises are not comforting when dealing with thousands of pounds of parts moving at high rates of speed, and in close proximity to high temperatures and flammables.

Sudden "Bang"'s are NOT conducive to calm and peace of mind...
