A Need for Mead
I'm planning ahead for a Spring solstice event,and need to have mead at the ready. Any recommendations for what brand(s) are best? Any recommended suppliers?

1. Check with your local SCAdians
Some members of the SCA (www.sca.org) brew their own mead and it is good. The only brand other than this that I know of is Chaucers mead. Its pretty good as well.

It's a hell of lot easier (and more forgiving) than making beer. Better get started today, if you want it to be ready for the spring solstice.

4. Dogfish brewery makes a very meadlike drink,
made from a very old recipe. I forget what it it called. It was intense.
