Although I can't say that I see many compelling arguments in favor of such thrills... The 30/40 of us will survive, I wish, and prosper, and be merry and enjoy what's left to enjoy at the best of their abilities. I wish all of you a year full of interesting questions, mind-boggling discoveries and wonderment. Pleasures of all sorts, lived fully in complete absence of guilt. We're the few. The very few indeed, and there is a great deal of nobility in that. I'll drink to your health, walk in the snow and raise my glass some more.

Nice "meeting" all you folks. I'm off tomorrow on a month-long business trip overseas. I'm pretty sure I'll be without internet access, except for occasional dial-ups thru a 1920-vintage phone system.

The brief time I've spent here has been really enjoyable, and I hope to see you all when I return.

I wish you all a very happy and properly skeptical New Year.

While I'm gone, maybe you can explain to those folks in the Woo-Woo groups why seances are always done in the dark. ;-)
