I purposely didn't include "other" if you have a different idea than one I listed reply describing it if you're so inclined. ;)

1. Option #1, with a caveat.
I'd wear my "Friendly Neighborhood Atheist" T-shirt or similar gear to help expose them to the fact that atheists can be normal, happy liberals too.

5. I had no problem standing silent vigil with the Quakers
against the Vietnam War in 1962. They were the only ones out there protesting the whole stupid thing and I had no problem joining them in that.

However, they never tried to convert me, either.

I'd think it would depend on the type of group and the nature of the protest. Remember, Habitat for Humanity is religiously based. However, they concentrate on provinding housing for the poor on site, and leave the Jesus stuff elsewhere, except for maybe a quick prayer in the morning for some of the groups. The act of charitably giving time and materials to provide housing for the homeless is an act of rebellion, and one I can support, prayers or no prayers.
