Anyone British may be interested in the Don't give O'Connor a peerage petition (it focuses mainly on the paedophile scandal, but there's no reason to restrict the reasoning to that). Yes, of course they don't listen to anything we say in their online petition system (unless it's to harvest names for surveillance in a few cases, I suspect), but it's a nice way to let off steam.

who's never had a sweetheart to kiss, pretends he's a cannibal at least once a week, doesn't worry about stretching a paycheck to cover the rent, regards his libido as an ugly beast in the cellar, wears a cummerbund and beanie to denote his rank in a make-believe army... seems to me he's "transcended" himself out of the business of being human altogether. Or so he thinks.
