Hey Everyone.

I'm not sure if you guys remember me or not, but I used to post a lot more often than I do now. Anyways, because a lot of the people in this group were so cool, I just wanted say hi. I also wanted to give you a link to my new blog.

I'm not spamming or anything...I just thought that some of you might want to know why I haven't been around very much. I was having some mental issues and work issues, and it's sort of why I started my blog. I just wanted to open up some of my experience to people on the internet who are like me.

Truth be told, my blog isn't super great. I'm not much of a writer, and I'm not used to writing my thoughts down (well, lol...except for when I want to be a sarcastic ass on DU). But if you guys want to read, then I'd be glad for your feedback.

I should also be around a lot more. I just donated, so I have my star...meaning, that maybe I'll finally get the rubber chicken, and a roasted, tender baby that I was promised when I joined the Evil Atheist Group. Seriously...they've been on backorder for years...this is inexcusable.

Nobody bags on science degrees like people who have them. The best description was from a wonderful coworker from Haiti who described his as "BS in biology. You know, dishwasher."

you into a pool of mediocre jobs that pay less than a janitor. Give her enough, and she takes all your life, and leaves you a alone and disgruntled. You may get paid, but you sold your future, friends and family for the "opportunity". And you can never rest on your laurels...there is always someone more hungry and pathetic, just waiting to take it all away.

A little break from here every now and then ain't a bad thing.

But it helps a lot to visit R&T and see that there are people that are WAY more fucked up than me.

but I'm glad to see you, and I hope you are doing well. I read a little at your blog. I could've written most of that almost word for word about 20 years ago after I graduated college as I'm not at all in my field of animal behavior/evolution......
