For the past few decades the fundy wackos have pulled their kids out of the public schools and sent them to private schools or home schooled them so they wouldn't be contaminated by science, tolerance and evolution.
I can see the day when public schools become awash with intolerance and religious dogma under pressure from these rabid loonies. Then we'll be the ones pulling our kids out and sending them to private schools or home schooling them so they will be exposed to true science and rational thinking.
