Earlier today we ran an analysis of posting traffic in each of the DU Groups. Those DU Groups that had fewer than one post per week (13 posts in the previous 90 days) have been selected for possible deletion. (Note: DU Groups for potential 2008 presidential candidates were exempted from deletion, because we expect they will become more active sometime in 2007.)

This Group was one of the DU Groups with fewer than 13 posts in 90 days, and has been selected for deletion. The Group will be deleted if there is not sufficient interest to keep it going.

If you want this Group to remain open, please post in this thread to let us know. The deadline for posting is midnight Thursday June 29. If at least ten people post in this thread to support the Group, it will remain open. Otherwise, it will be closed.

I don't know about the level of activity but I'm in the middle of starting a business and this forum looks like it might be helpful to me. I hope you get the required 10 posts.

With the current economy, I can see it becoming useful.

I have learned a lot from reading the posts, especially those issues regarding small businesses, such as insurance, etc.

I think it could be more useful if we had one pinned thread where we knew what everybody else does.

....like to visit occasionally. I know I would have never found this forum if someone hadn't sent me the link.

The "Lifestyle, peer support & Self Help sounds like something that would include changing society, exercising, maybe weight loss, eating disorders, meditation, decorating, crafts, on and on.

But at no time would I have associated small business with a Lifestyle forum under DU Groups. So I have a question. Is there a place at DU where the major forums are listed and all the smaller forums are listed underneath so we can check out the smaller forums to see if we like any??

I'm sure people would visit these smaller forums if they were easier to find.

as a sticky in the main discussion forums?

I just found this particular group forum today. I was looking for another type of forum, and happened upon this one. Having just started my own business, I was happy to see there is one just for people like me.

Anyway, am thinking that if there is a limited time sticky in the discussion forums regarding groups up for possible deletion, that forums, such as this one, would get more attention, as am sure there are many on DU who do not know that certain groups exist.
