Small business funding for start-up

does anyone know of funds available for small business start-ups? I need approximately $3,000 to get certified and buy all the necessary software upgrades, print marketing materials and buy ads.

1. Have you tried contacting your local SBA office?

Usually they can assist you in finding financing for your start up. Best of luck to you! :)
