Need advise on developing an idea for a new fast food concept

It's modern and trendy, and fills an open niche. No one else seems to be doing this.

I've run small businesses before, but none that required a business plan or any substantial start up capital. I've never done anything like this before, and have absolutely no idea where to start, or how to progress. I need sound, specific advise, and I'm talking basics!

DUers have always been a great resource - I'm sure that someone here can point me in the right direction.

I have academic books and software (that I would gladly share) but they are in Vermont... I'm in Washington. ugh Most states have excellent resources (Vermont does!)

I have written a couple of business plans and they are very time consuming but necessary for bank loans. If you have already run businesses you will be fine...
