You guys told me, and I listened. Firefly is FANTASTIC!
You DUers here have been raving about Firefly ever since the Sci-Fi forum started. I saw a couple of episodes on Fox in 2001 when it was first on, and didn't think much of it.

I got Dish Network's HDTV pack over the summer, and Universal HD is showing all the episodes right now, so I gave it another chance, and now I am hooked. Can't wait for every Sunday when a new one shows up on my DVR. :woohoo:

Can't remember how many I've seen (maybe 8), bu the last one is where Sapphron came back and got them to go to some rich guys floating house and steal an ancient gun, and we find out that she's got too many husbands to mention. How many do I have left?

I won't watch Serenity until I've seen them all.:D

Univ HD is also showing BSG season 2. I hate the fact that I can't wait and have to watch it on low rez TV. The HD version of BSG is so much more lifelike. HDNet is showing a second run of Enterprise, so I'm catching up on them too. Pales in comparison to Firefly!

1. You might be interested in the box set
There are... 12? episodes altogether. The box set has them in the order they were meant to be shown, not the order that the (expletive deleted) network showed them. Definitely worth getting.

3. They seem to be showing them in order on Univ HD.
The one I saw X-Mas Eve was where they helped defend a brothel from a laser toting strongman, who impregnated a whore. There don't seem to be any lapses of continuity. They introduced the mad ganster/old man sadist in one before they brought him back 2-3 eps later to torture Mal and (oh' I forget) ...the pilot.

5. The preceding message contained a spoiler!

Still, it's a half-obvious situation regarding the spoiler and it made for one heck of a followup episode. :7

2. I also recently founfd firefly too
I will never forgive FOX for this. Arrested Development and Firefly were both great shows that should never have been wasted on FOX.
