I'm really getting into watching Star Trek TOS again.
our local channel 2 is showing the HD versions. I just watched The Omega Glory. About my 10th since a couple of months ago.

I'm coming to the conclusion that I was too young to get much of the messages to the stories that I saw all those years ago. They all seem fresh and new to me now.

1. I like the remastered effects.
Otherwise the hokey effects just distract.

I appreciate the way the original cast had to basically create the Star Trek world and its characters. Spock, Kirk and Bones played off each other very well.

I have my DVR set to anything "Star Trek" right now. My own little hobby I guess you'd call it--I have printed out lists of all the episodes of all the series and check them off one by one. I've seen every episode of TOS except for one.
