The "new" Dr Who
I am kind of liking him as time goes by , but that girl has got to go!

River Song is really interesting.

Less Amy, more River Song !

1. I like him, too.
I think he's pretty perfect. The girl is okay to me but that fiancee storyline is very annoying. I liked the way they kept the (Nicky? Ricky?) boyfriend line with Rose in the background and it was understood that, of course, she'll go on adventures. What's a girl to do?

4. Gonna have to disagree with both of you.
I liked Tennant a lot in the role, but eventually his "manic Doctor" schtick wore thin for me. I wasn't sure what to make of Matt Smith at first, but now that the season's wrapped up, I think he did a really good job. Toned down the mania of his predecessor, brought back a lot of the quirkiness of previous Doctors. Not all the stories were winners this season, but Smith turned in a solid performance every week.

Don't care much for the Amy character, but Karen Gillan sure is easy on the eyes.

6. Eh, Matt Smith seems to me like he's playing Tennant playing the Doctor.
Maybe he will grow on me over time...it took a while to like Tennant after Eccleston too.

7. Every Dr. after Tom Baker is an afterthought.
You know it in your soul.

9. Although Sylvester McCoy was AWESOME!!!
Great actor, I LOVED Ace (literally hee hee)
But helass, his replacement was shit.
the 7th Dr was canceled right before it started getting REALLY interesting (the plot lines around Ace were really starting to get good too!)

I liked Ecleson the best, as well, of the new Doctor's.

I think they are going to start the Song story arc very soon. It's obvious from the angel's episode WHO she killed.

My fav. part of the latest series (what they call a season in the UK) is where the DALEK .....
