Anyone watch Battlestar Gallactica?
We don't have cable, so we've only just got turned onto this.

We rented and watched the movie "pilots" and all the seasons except the last. Very enjoyable (although joss whedom spoiled us with the amount of humor that leviated his dark visions) Although Dr. Gaius is one bright spot of humor.

Kind of got hooked.

I wish we didn't have to wait until Mid Sept for the next season to come out for us to rent...

1. I applaud your honesty
A less honest person would go to this link...

http://www.shareaza.com/

and download the latest version of Shareaza (an open source P2P and torrent program). After which the less honest person would probably go to the following link

http://thepiratebay.org/details.php?id=3463807

and then they would click on the 'download this torrent' button. It would prompt to save or open a file, and this person would click on open and it would open in their newly installed version of Shareaza and start downloading.

Depending on this person's bandwith, within a day or two most likely, probably within a week, the entire second season would be on this person's hardrive, availble to burn off onto a VCD or DVD and view on their television, or just watch on their computer.

Stealing? No. Charging over 100 bucks to get the extended digital package of which only the sci-fi channel is interesting is stealing. Forcing someone to subscribe to 30 channels of kids and science programing in order to get the sci-fi channel is stealing.

3. Only someone quite dishonest would do that.
I would never burn dvds like that. I am also way too honest to have burned the last two seasons of Doctor Who off of a bit torrent site. That would be just wrong.

(Who are we kidding here? I'm a single mom who couldn't afford to spend $70 for Eccleston's season and didn't want to wait for Sci-Fi to air Tennent's season! What do you think I did?)

2. On DVD
With the second half of Season Two coming out in September, I'm hoping there'll be a good deal on both halves.

My rule of thumb for a DVD series is compare it to movie ticket prices with a small popcorn (Two one-hour episodes equal one movie).

On YouTube someone posted preview for I guess the Third Season, yet to be broadcast. They all had beards...even the women ;-)

7. You mean Dean Stockwell's character?
I saw him as more psuedo religious.
