Anyone watching Dexter?

Great casting of Michael C. Hall (David from 6 feet Under) as a police lab blood spatter specialist who understands serial killers so well because he are one. Great premise, told pretty well. Sometimes the good vs. evil is almost comic-book simple, but that has grown on me. Anyone else watching this?

I admit I was kind of repulsed at first, but I went back and watched the first episode again. Well-written, interesting characters, and a fascinating story line. If I'm correct, the series is based on a book (or series of books), no?

I like Michael C. Hall -- what a departure from Six Feet Under!

I still skip over the opening credits - actually a work (or series of) art - as none of it is actual gore, just day to day stuff, just creeps me out. I'll have to check out the books - wasn't aware of that.
