Survivor - Fans vs. Favorites - Episode 11 discussion thread
That was a GREAT episode. I could not beleive how stupid Jason was in stepping down. He could have beaten Pavarti. he was lucky that there was a move to oust Ozzy, otherwise he was going home. Parvati and Cirie are playing great. I still think Cirie is going to win this thing. However, Jason is the best athlete left in the game. He can go on a run and win physican challanges. If he is smart, he will try to split the girls.

I like the visit to the village. I am always amazed by the cultures they encounter ont his show. I know its one of Brunet's favorite things, to show off these local cultures. I loved it. I felt for Cirie on Exile Island. That sucked. But I am sure its beign int eh cold that helped her develope the plan to oust Ozzy. What was James thinking with the noice making. He is gettign edgy, like he did last time. It will be his downfall.

Jason never should have made the deal, but maybe he can parlay it into a deal with the girls and start to work on splitting them up. He needs to play up how the fans will be 3-2 when the men are gone and Cirie, Amanda and PAv wil pick them off. If he is smart, he will split the girls and get them to eat one of their own before its too late. If he can get tot eh final three, he can win the final challange. I was sad to see Ozzy go. I love him. He was gettign too cocky and that is always the tiem when you fall.

1. Amazing Tribal Council - maybe the most enjoyable boot since Jerri?
I'm just thrilled that this season won't play out predictably, like the All-Stars season. I never cared much for Parvati before, but it's becoming pretty obvious that she's now the puppetmaster! She's got the fan-girls (Alexis & Natalie) under her spell, and the total gender numbers on her side. She may have a big problem with Cirie now, though. Cirie totally targets those she feels are the most strategic - look how anxious she was to dump Yau-Man so early...

2. I started an earlier thread but I guess my numbering was off.
Sorry to jump on this but I have to vent.

My Ozzy is gone! I saw it coming from a long way off but I thought sure he'd play the idol. Some people did some big time lying in this episode. I think every one of them did to one person or another.

They really blindsided Ozzy and James, Amanda, and the young kid whose name escapes me. Eric?

Cirie has been pretty low-key lately but she sure wrangled up the crew to vote this week. The two female fans are almost non-entities but they now have a chance to go a lot further in the game. I'd be afraid to be Amanda and James right now unless they can pull together some sort of coalition. Cirie, Pavarti, and the two other ladies are a strong bloc right now.

A good show and a predictable outcome. I think it showed just how secure Ozzy felt and it was a bit egotistical of him to assume like he did. I'll miss him. I look forward to his questions on final night, though!

A thought though...he said in his final interview that he didn't bring the idol to tribal. Does Amanda know where it is? Can she find it and use it now? I mean can anyone? I just figured he might have confided in her.

I didn't see the previews.

3. Was I off on numbers, maybe it was me
I'll check later. Maybe it was my bad. Sorry I posted after you. I started the post early and had to take care of something, otherwise I would have replied to yours. Anyway, no biggie.
I think you are right about James, but I suspect PAv will want to keep Amanda around for awhile.
