Crown Royal and catfish!
I walked across the street and went fishing this evening. I took along my flask of Crown just in case the fish weren't biting. It took about 30 seconds for the first bite! I wound up catching 17 catfish in about two and a half hours. Total weight was around 40 pounds. I was gettin pretty zonked by the time I finished, so I loaded them up and took them all to a pond we keep stocked for kids to fish in. We have Kid Fish events three times each summer where we have around 60-100 kids come and fish. We give trophies to the top three catches and each kid that catches a fish gets a "I caught a fish" ribbon. We cook em hot dogs and give sodas chips, and cookies. We have been doing this for ten years now. Our fishing club raises money to buy fish and food and refreshments for the kiddos.
We built a stone restroom facility at the pond and it is equipped with ramps for handicapped children. We bring a group of mentally challenged kids to fish every summer. I think it is the highlight of their year! We also invite a group of about thirty kids from the youth center in town out for a day of fishing, boatrides, and swimming. We also cook them hotdogs and burgers and give them a tee shirt or a cap as a token of their trip.
Our lake is a private, gated 600 acre lake. Most people here are affluent and are very generoous when it comes to donating to activities for kids. The wife and I put on outdoor movies in the summer on a 16 ft inflatable screen. We generally have 60 to 80 people show up for the movies. Since this is a golfing community, it is a golf-cart drive-in movie. Everything is free except for our concession stand. We sell hot dogs, cotton candy, soft drinks, candy, and those glow-in-the-dark stick that the kids love.

It's kinda neat to see the kids get to experience a drive-in movie. There hasn't been real drive in movies around here for about 30 yrs.
Heck, we even have adults that have never missed a movie! We do two a month from May thru October.
