Well, I'm off snowboarding in France over the New Year

I've been skiing a few times before but have only snowboarded for 3 days previously......Bought myself some new Vans boots from eBay and will be hiring a board.

We're going to Les Deux Alpes and there are 6 of us (3 couples) sharing an appartment.

Last time I boarded I was utterly battered and bruised by the end of my first morning, so wish me luck this time! I'm taking a hipflask full of brandy out with me each day to numb the pain of bruised elbows, wrists, knees and arse.....

Any other boarders on here? Any tips for me?
