Any other MA folks get a Kerry robocall?
I did, last night. He was asking me to vote yes on question 3 (the childcare question). I usually hang up on robocalls, but not this one. I listened to the whole thing.

I am a Kerrygeek.

1. I may have gotten one
But I generally let it go to voicemail if I don't recognize the number on caller id. So I wouldn't have known about it.

3. I think it came in as
"Unknown Name, Unknown Number".

If I'd happened to pick up the phone that has callerID I wouldn't have answered it, either.

2. Hearing that voice is good no matter if live or robo.
No matter how bad things are, how dark the storm clouds are, hearing Senator Kerry's voice is at once calming, inspiring and empowering. That's one mark of a true leader.

4. No, I haven't yet
but it might have gone to voice mail or someone else got it.

I am voting yes on 3.

BTW, the Senator ratings are out for Oct. Kerry is back up to 55% approval, but the inside data still doesn't make any sense. Check out the last line of the data. How could Boston and SE/Cape flip so much in a month. That makes no sense at all.

5. I agree.
Makes no sense AT ALL. Did you see the IAVA senator ratings? Why did Kerry only get a B? I figure it must have to ho with votes he missed during the 2004 campaign, but I can't believe he deserves only a B, with all he does for vets. http://www.iavaaction.org/

BTW, see the Herald front page today?

heehee.

6. Isn't that a lovely cover for the Herald.
Barbie can go back to building her Dream House. The Corner Office is not to be hers, unless, as TPM noted, there is a dead girl or a live boy on the horizon.

I agree, the IAVA ratings make no sense. I think they are based on the missing votes as well.

9. I'm really happy for MA and Patrick
Actually for all the states that are swinging Dem in their governors' races. The chimpy presidency has been good for the Dem party, if nothing else.

7. Racial differences interesting
It's encouraging that there isn't any difference in approval based on race. What is interesting is that Kerry has more support among Hispanics than Kennedy. What do you suppose that's about?

8. That poll is a bit whacked.
The only thing that strikes me as about right is the age thing.

The poll swings too wildly from month to month to be real.

10. the number of minorites they get in these polls is often very small
so they could easily go from double digit differences from polling in one week to the next week although in reality there wouldn't be that much difference in what the approval/disapproval was.
