The corporate media don't want to let this thing die

Now they have that picture of the troops with the misspelled words about Kerry FRONT PAGED on AOL when you log in. It says read the story about the troops -- I clicked in, and it's not much of a story at all. I thought it would have at least interviewed the troops and what they're doing in Iraq; instead it just says they're from a National Guard unit from Minnesota with links to blogs who are talking about it, and a poll that is pointless to vote in. No -- the whole point was to milk this story to slam Kerry. Damnit -- I thought this thing was beginning to go our way, and now they front page it again, when there is NO NEWS. Like how about what those troops are DOING in Iraq?

They have to beat this dead horse, they don't have national security or taxes or Iraq or anything. So, they have to do this because it's all they have.

Why do they keep replaying a story for which nothing has happened since Wednesday?

i suggested that John Kerry meet wth these people. i think they would like him.

if they were just having some fun, and didn't think Kerry was putting down the troops at all, OR that they WERE offended. I wanted to know, and they didn't even answer that question in the article. Which makes me wonder what's going on there.

He really did mean to bash the troops, the media is just spinning the joke explanation.
You know what bothers me, they are using the troops for political gains. And, it hurts to think that some troops by into this.

bashed the troops. Why would somebody continue to repeat it? It is hurtful to the troops to keep saying it. The fact that it's a lie just adds one more troop (Kerry) to those it is harming.

The mainstream media has moved on Haggard and this is a subject they do not want to touch.

It's times like this that I think there are some in our leadership that really are out of touch on how regular people think. How can they let anybody bash Democrats on something as important as our troops - and not point out how many times they've used the troops for photo-ops and other political purposes. It's just sickening.
