about fisheries hearings, it seems that there's a serious issue that needs addressed now.

1. Oh my god yes!!!

My ocean is sad sad sad. We've had a dead zone just off our coast every summer for a few years now. All the shellfish died. You go to the beaches and there's NOTHING on them. It's just weird. Our salmon season was pathetic. There have been some updates to the fisheries law, Kerry wrote an Oceans and Fisheries act at some point in the last 15 years. But we need so much more.

2. The dunes are dying on Cape Cod

I belive they have lost 50% of something like that of the salt marshes. They just started to up and die.

Fishing, as an industry is dying too! There were fishermen out of Gloucester, Mass before the Pilgrims ever set foot on this shore. That inudstry is going corporate, like so many, and this is little left to catch.

Yeaha, we need this legislation. Even more, we need people who are serious about addressing the problem.
