why is TayTay's Al From thread locked in here and moved to GDP ?

TayTay, did you ask for it to be moved there ? even if you did why is it locked here. strange. and there is already a thread on this in GDP .

Must have happened overnight.

I am tired of the DLC people on GD trying to suggest that the last election was some sort of referendum on how conservative the Democratic Party has become. I think these people are cowards who wait on the sidelines until all the fighting is done and then come out and try to claim victory for the battle.

They are reprehensible and morally indefensible.

I had exactly the type of posts in a thread in GD. I don't actually care if it was moved. I expressed the same emotions here as there. The DLC is a cancer on the Democratic PArty.

it's just weird how it was moved . in this case it's not a problem but there might be some other threads we might not want that to happen with.

i agree about Al From and his people. i hadn't heard much from him througout the election and then he suddenly pops up claiming credit for this ????? where was he in the beginning when people were doing all teh hard work. before we had any support, before we had any money.

I don't remember it it had anything about him or not in it but maybe sometimes they check the group for things not related to it's name?

5. no, this forum is allowed to discuss non Kerry stuff

i think it may just be a mistake. it happened before also.

the moving of threads is more common in the major non donor forums where LBN threads are moved to GD or GD threads moved to Lounge.

We post a lot of stuff not directly related to Sen Kerry.

The purpose of the new DU Groups is to provide like-minded people with places where they can discuss issues free from disruption from those who disagree.

Although the primary purpose is to discuss all things Kerry, there aren't any restrictions on OT discussion that I can find.

Maybe because it was a (well deserved) smackdown of From and the DLC? Maybe because the mod thought it was important enough to share with the GD/P group?

It's certainly a good post and a topic worthy of discussion in GD/P. I recommended it.

I do hope this doesn't become common practice, though, as the whole point of the JK group, as defined by Skinner, is to give us a safe haven for open discussion.
