Something to look forward to.....
Who knows what will be going on in the country and world by then, but JK is scheduled to appear at the 92nd St. Y in NYC in March to be interviewed by Charlie Rose. It looks like it will be close in time to when his and Teresa's book is due to be published. I got tickets already for me, my husband and my 13 year old son who, unlike his older sister, hasn't had a chance to meet JK yet. It's not nearly as cool as being with JK for his b-day, but I still can't wait!

John Kerry with Charlie Rose: The World We Live In

John Kerry, the 2004 Democratic presidential nominee, says that everyone—not just environmentalists—has a stake in how we treat the planet. Kerry, a four-term senator from Massachusetts, talks about how the environmental movement can survive the tempests ahead with resilience, ingenuity and independence. Kerry, a lifelong proponent of environmental causes, is also a Navy veteran who earned a Silver Star, a Bronze Star and three Purple Hearts for his service in Vietnam. He is the coauthor, with his wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, of a new book.

After the lecture, attend a post-event wine and cheese mixer.
