There are so many things wrong with this diary it is hard to know where to begin.

The poll asks who would make the best President. Kerry isn't one of the choices (but you can pick "other") and once you read the diary that fits - but the diary is nonsense.

It's not on the reco list or anything, but might be worth posting a rebuttal to.

I'm down to blaming Osama bin Laden for Bush's re-election. As evil as Karl Rove was, it was the ultimate evil of OBL who swung that election. I think after the debates, people were thinking -- hey, maybe this Kerry guy would be worth it to replace Bush. Kerry made OBL nervous, because he had frozen him out of his BCCI money back in the early '90s, not to mention the money laundering legislation and his ability to understand how terror networks work. JK needed to be eliminated, so OBL made his appearance, and the polls flatlined (obviously, the tape was done way in advance, probably in the summer). Base fear, not rational thinking took over. And the CIA has verified that OBL intended to get Bush re-elected. We need to understand that al Qaeda and all the offshoot Islamic groups fight an informational war moreso than terrorist attacks. The attacks are merely for their information campaign. I hope Sen. Kerry understands who the ultimate enemy of his was in '04.

Kerry has something good on each and every one.

I realize that no one may read it but I can steal paragraphs from it later -

The strange thing is - I keep realizing what I forgot to add. There is sure a wealth of substance there. (The lamest answer was an Edwards person who with no detail was with Edwards because of the domestic issues - and said he could pull together a great foreign policy team.

The other seems to think that JK could have somehow caused the election result to be overturned and himself installed as president. Really, do people actually think that could have ever happened? What planet are these people from?

unfortunately... everybody on DU is supposed to care enough to know more than the average person, and yet so often you see statements that show a complete ignorance of facts. I am OK with people not knowing things, I am NOT OK with people that do not know, but make bold statements that are completely unsupported by facts or knowledge of a subject.
