2. I think that might be an interesting field to till.

In fact, Bush made alot of major speeches post 9-11 and I would be interested in seeing McAuliffe's responses to them and the tone and plan he set for the party.

I know talk is cheap, and McAuliffe's actions were even cheaper, but it would be a good start point to examine his public stewardship of the party and its responses.
