list turned over to any other candidate or the DNC for McAuliffe to use. Tell him to distroy it so no one gets it.

1. AH, why can't he keep it?
I am on Sen. Leahy's list. I like being on it. I am on several others lists. Why can't Sen. Kerry keep his list and let people leave if they so choose.

2. I don't think the question refers to whether or not Kerry will keep his list. I'm sure he will.
It's more about who will he SHARE it with in order to help the Democratic ticket win in 2008.

I'm hoping he will not share it, but there will a huge amount of pressure for him to do just that. It would be far better for him to use it exactly as he did in 2006. That way, they DNC can only get our money through Senator John Kerry. Amen to that.

6. Exactly. Thank you. I still love Kerry- I want to help him do his good works,
I just don't want the likes of the other vultures to get their hands on it.

5. I am afraid his e-mail list from the election will be wanted by the others who are running.
I just want Jk to have it, not anyone like Clinton or Obama.

11. I don't want to see someone else benefit from the e-mail list- that is all.
Yes,I can block but that isn't my point.

16. yeah I know. I don't think he'll share it, though.
He still probably wants to use it for Keeping America's Promise to help support Dem candidates, and who knows--maybe more.

3. Contact the PAC
And asked to be removed. I think he will continue to use his PAC to do good works in the Senate and for other candidates in the future.

4. You miss understand. I don't want him to pass it on to the likes of
Clinton or Obama. I would still just like to have Kerry have it. His e-mail list is coveted by others running.

10. We can send him e-mails asking him not to do that. Personally, I don't think he will.
He's got that new site to stop the war and it wouldn't surprise me if he kept the PAC, so maybe he'll play it exactly as he did with the 2006 elections.

We can let our voices be known. We can also let Senator Kerry know in no uncertain terms that we will only donate through him.

17. It would make sense and greatly add to his power
If he is capable of helping people get elected, that has to give him some weight that is added to his stature as thenominee and a Senator who will be running for his fifth term.

7. Won't Kerry endorse one of the candidates?
And if he does so, isn't it okay to give the list to this candidate? If I could vote, I wouldn't mind to get emails from the candidate Kerry has endorsed.

13. Wait a minute.
Is he allowed, by law, to give his e-mail list to anyone? I don't think so.

Even so, we must let him know that we don't approve of his doing that.

If we want to be on someone else's mailing list, which I have NO intention of doing, we can go to THEIR web site and get on THEIR list.

I really believe Kerry has more integrity than to share such confidential information.

14. maybe
Maybe what he will do is send a message to his list asking that people support his favorite candidate. That way the person can choose whether or not to go support that candidate.

I agree - I don't want him giving my email to anyone - esp. someone like Hillary Clinton - but then, I was on her list cause of some petition I'd signed from her, and asked to be removed, and they removed me - so it's no big deal to get removed from one.

I'm on several list cause of donations to other people.

I don't think I'll be giving any more money though to the democratic party directly anyway, after the way they've treated Kerry.

15. I assume KERRY will keep it and use it
He's dropping out of the race to fight HARDER on Iraq and issues that matter to him. I imagine that that list gives him a power that other Senators don't have.

Look what he did in 2006. That list is a key tool for both helping to elect good people and to push activism. It was unusual to have a real activist, who was a sitting Senator and the last nominee. I don't think I ever saw that before.

That list in 2006 worked because people on it trusted John Kerry, not "he who owns the list".
