All I can say is, John Kerry is a good sport

This article is about baseball, but they put up this photo:

I also wanted to note that Kerry got a mention on KO last night as a "newsmaker" for taking on DirecTV and MLB "monopoly".

That sucks. How can you get the Red Sox if you have Dish and this thing goes through. (Other fans of other teams might not like this type of monopoly either.)

2. Admittedly, I'm not into sports, so this issue is, well, kinda down

my list of important issues. But .... I have a friend who voted for Bush who is a HUGE Red Sox fan, so if any snied remarks are said, I can bring this up as the senator who cares about the PEOPLE!

3. It does suck, it's ridiculous

We've bought our satellite based on who has the NFL premium package. They should have to figure out a way to put that package on all pay TV. Wouldn't that be sadly ironic if the thing he ended up being remembered for most, was bringing sports to all the men of the US, who had rejected him because he wasn't 'one of them'.
