I finally saw it, but I'll want to keep an archived copy somewhere, or at least know there's a place where I can go to see it.
I also cried, especially when he talked about "there is a time". .. hearing his strong voice. .
God, JK is a class act.

Something he believes in, something big, that he can fight for.

I am so upset I missed the begining, though I had the CNN stream on. Life interfered for a little while :-(. It should be available somewhere soon.

That's awesome! Kerry is unmatched!

How I wish Kerry had become president in 2004. He would have been one of the greatest, and it would have paved the way for a 2012 Obama presidency.

But that's only a wish, Obama's time is now!

I have dreamt of Kerry/Obama 08. But maybe indeed as you put it "Obama's time is now", and maybe, just maybe he is a better match to the times than Kerry (sacrilege :blush:). Substance and character matter A LOT, but, unfairly at times, symbolism also has its place, and can act as a powerful catalyst.

16. I think he looks like a better match to the times,

and that does matter. Underneath the surface stuff, I still think JK is the best person to fix the problems we're facing, but since that's no longer on the table, I count myself as one of the Americans who's really excited about the prospect of somebody who's not a rich white guy getting the nomination.

but I just read it, thanks for the link Mass. Powerful , heartfelt and so John Kerry. I am a very proud Kerrycrat today, and although I don't have a horse in this race, JK makes me think even deeper of what should be and who would make America , America again.

Wow, that speech was amazing.
