2. It usually does re-air...
...several times. I did see it...that's exactly what he said. Anyone voting who doesn't like Bush should hear it...it does make one think. :)

4. I've been saying same thing.
While people tell me the GOP wants Hillary because of revving up the hate machine, I say the GOP wins by loss or if she's elected.

Club for Growth donates to Bill, and to the Bushes. In 2004, Bill couldn't criticize Bush (ie promoting change). But there is something sincere about his embrace of neo-con intervention (urging Blair, but saying to us he was against the war), covering up Iran-Contra, largesse from the defense industry. The sleazy acceptance of all donations, supporting the corporate status quo, I think Bill likes power and playing with the big, global boys. Some of which is unavoidable and a good thing, but I don't think the way he covets. Like the guy from the trailer tasting Paris.

Murdoch is his buddy, and I think it's more than keeping your enemies close.

Be careful about what Brooks says, but I believe it's true.

5. I think I reacted so strongly exactly because
it struck me as entirely plausible.

And I can't stand Brooks. But in this case he seemed eager to be stating the Bushies' case for them. I didn't get the sense at all that he was spinning.

6. One important thing.
The GOP controls our voting apparatus, controls the ballot programming, all three companies, and despite insider fraud at the very local level, we're talking swinging an election, big and little. Not unlike what happened in 2004.

Beyond Ohio, shifts happened all over in 2004, with red states getting more than 100% participation, and voters denying they voted when asked. They needed the popular vote to discourage any challenge.

That doesn't mean NH was fixed, however strange the results, but big picture, I don't doubt a fixed win for Hillary. Then Dems say no vulnerability because a Dem won, and we lose an important argument.

It's the secret vote counting and thwarting the people's will that stinks and is undemocratic.

8. There's a bit of a gossip in Brooks
He seems to love to tell the inside stuff. But I didn't think he had much to say this week on Newshour about the primary--doesn't seem to get it. Even Shields did much better.

7. I just had a different thought
Given how conservatives feel about anything CLINTON, David Brooks' comments must be making heads explode all over the right.

Yep, the Clintons are far too cozy with GHW Bush. And too cozy with Murdoch.

But the Republican base will go absolutely NUTS to hear that Hillary will keep the Bush legacy alive. I wouldn't want to see Brooks' inbox over the next few days. He'll see lots misspelled curse words for sure.

9. That's a real WTF moment
I think HRC supporters need to take a much closer look at their candidate, and rethink their votes.
