WASHINGTON DC – Chairman of the Near East and South Asia Subcommittee John Kerry (D-MA) Chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee Joseph R. Biden Jr. (D-DE) and Senator Chuck Hagel (R-NE) will hold a press conference on TUESDAY, February 26, 2008 at 12:30 PM EST to discuss their recent trip to Pakistan, Afghanistan, India and Turkey.

not in the schedule, of course, but isn't this the time they have their caucus meetings on Tuesdays and the Senate takes a break? Thanks for the heads up, by the way :-).

Edit to add: here is some of what they may say http://www.voanews.com/english/2008-02-26-voa6.cfm US Senator: If Afghanistan Fails, Pakistan Could Follow. The senator in question is Biden who spoke at the Council on Foreign Relations yesterday (anybody seen that? probably interesting). Not much info in the article, but a nice little picture, with beautifully coordinated suits and ties :-).
